1. Service Description
SomaliaETA.com is a private agency offering expert assistance to travelers applying for the Somalia Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) through the official Government of Somalia portal located at etas.gov.so.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of the Government of Somalia or its Immigration and Citizenship Agency (ICA). We act solely as a third-party service provider to facilitate the eTA application process on your behalf, offering services such as application review, submission, sponsor letter assistance (where applicable), and expediting of delayed applications.
2. User Obligations and Responsibilities
By using our Service, you agree to:
- Provide complete, accurate, and truthful information required for the eTA application, including personal details, passport information, travel plans, and sponsor details (if applicable).
- Ensure all documents submitted (e.g., passport copy, photo, sponsor letter) are clear, valid, and meet the requirements set forth by the Somali government.
- Meet the eligibility requirements for entering Somalia as determined by the Somali government.
- Pay all applicable fees, including both our service fee and the mandatory, non-refundable government eTA fee.
- Understand that providing false or misleading information can lead to application rejection, revocation of an approved eTA, denial of entry, or other legal consequences, for which SomaliaETA bears no responsibility.
- Acknowledge that you have read and understood the information provided on our website regarding the application process, requirements, and risks.
3. Our Process & Cancellation Policy
Our service typically involves reviewing the information and documents you provide, verifying critical details (such as sponsor letters, where applicable and possible through our channels), submitting the application on your behalf via the official etas.gov.so portal, providing you with the official application reference number, and notifying you of the outcome. For our Fast-Track service, we use our channels to follow up on and expedite pending applications submitted directly by you or by us.
Further details of our process can be found on our How It Works page.
3.1. Cancellation and Immediate Application Submission
Once you make a payment for a new eTA application, we begin the process of submission almost immediately. The $64 government fee is paid by us on your behalf to the official portal immediately after your payment is processed. This government fee is strictly non-refundable once submitted.
If you wish to cancel your service for a new application:
- If you request cancellation before we have submitted the application to the official portal, you may be eligible for a full refund of both the service fee and the government fee.
- If you request cancellation after the application has been submitted (or 1 hour after payment, whichever is sooner), we will only refund our service fee if we fail to meet the delivery duration guarantee outlined in Section 4. The government fee is non-refundable.
- In all other cancellation requests made after 1 hour from payment, the service fee is forfeited.
4. Fees, Payment, and Delivery Guarantees
Our Service fees are clearly stated on our website. These fees are for our assistance and expertise and are separate from the mandatory government eTA application fee (currently $64 USD).
Our service fees are refundable only under the specific conditions outlined in our Refund Policy, particularly concerning our processing time guarantees and our 100% Risk-Free Guarantee for fully pre-verified new applications. Payment for our services is typically requested after our initial review or pre-verification step, via a secure payment link.
5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- No Guarantee of Approval: While our service is designed to maximize the chances of success, the final decision to approve or reject an eTA application rests solely with the Government of Somalia's Immigration and Citizenship Agency (ICA). We do not legally guarantee the outcome of the government's decision. Our guarantee is limited to the refund terms set forth in our Refund Policy.
- Government Portal & Delays: We are not responsible for the operation, functionality, delays, errors, or system changes related to the official government eTA portal (
etas.gov.soor its predecessors). - Information Accuracy: While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, Somalia's visa requirements and processes can change without notice. We are not liable for inaccuracies originating from official government sources or for changes in government policy.
- Third-Party Actions: We are not responsible for decisions made by airlines regarding boarding or by immigration officers at the port of entry in Somalia. An approved eTA does not guarantee entry into Somalia.
- Fraudulent Activity / Blacklist Rejection: Our 100% Risk-Free Guarantee is VOID if the application is rejected due to the applicant providing fraudulent, misleading, or incorrect information, or if the applicant is flagged by the Somali government for being on a security watch list, a criminal record, or any other blacklist reason. In such cases, neither the service fee nor the government fee will be refunded.
- Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, SomaliaETA, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage. Our maximum liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount of the service fee you paid to us.
